Our team is built on a foundation of community, passion, empathy and Love. We offer our help as an inspiration for others to not only do the same, but for those in need to know that somebody cares! Our salon focuses on assisting one client at a time and we are committed to making an impact in our local community by setting our focus on contributions to humanity. We choose to donate a portion of our proceeds and our time to charities, because helping people to feel good and look their best is our way of saying THANKS!  Maxi Community

Below are some of the organizations we donate time and/or money to and other causes we truly care about.

Boys & Girls Club –

The Clairemont Branch offers after school programs which contain activities in five core focus areas including Character and Leadership Development; Education and Career Development; Health and Life Skills; Sports, Fitness and Recreation; and The Arts.

The Clairemont Branch offers a variety of activities for all our members from high- to low- energy. We offer computers, tournaments, games, sports, arts and crafts, educational support activities, outside play and lots of fun! We provide a structured homework hour everyday in all areas involving all our staff and volunteers. M,T,Th from 3-3:50pm, and Wed. 1-2pm. After that hour, our Education Center is available for any and all members to receive additional help in completing homework. Swimming is available Mondays 3:15-5 and Wednesdays 2-4 pm.

San Diego Mesa College –

As one of the largest and most successful of California’s 110 community colleges, and as the largest college in the San Diego Community College District, Mesa College takes pride in its high academic standards, its excellent programs and services, and its personal approach to helping each individual student succeed.

At Mesa College, students will find a wide and diverse array of courses and programs leading to the A.A. or A.S. degree in both academic and vocational subjects, as well as programs leading to occupational certificates. Students may also pursue programs of general interest.

San Diego Hospice –

The Institute for Palliative Medicine (IPM) at San Diego Hospice is committed to relieving suffering by improving the quality and accessibility of palliative care.

San Diego Hospice and The Institute for Palliative Medicine was established as the original hospice program in San Diego County in 1977. Today, the organization is one of the largest hospice and palliative care programs in the United States. More than 800 hospice staff and 600 volunteers annually care for over 4,000 adult and pediatric patients and their families, as well as more than 12,000 bereaved clients.

NAMI  –

NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI advocates for access to services, treatment, supports and research and is steadfast in its commitment to raise awareness and build a community for hope for all of those in need.

NAMI is the foundation for hundreds of NAMI State Organizations, NAMI Affiliates and volunteer leaders who work in local communities across the country to raise awareness and provide essential and free education, advocacy and support group programs.
